Eternity simply means life without end. It’s a place of no return, so where you’ll spend eternity should matter to you. Eternity can be spent in heaven or hell. Matthew 25:46 says, “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.”
The way you lived your life before death will determine your place in eternity. You can’t live in sin and expect to go to heaven. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 says, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” Revelation 21:27 says, “And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”
Dear reader, where will you spend eternity? Don’t risk going to hell – it’s a place of everlasting punishment. The rich man in Luke 16 is still there, suffering. If you’re living in sin, repent and surrender to Jesus Christ today.
Pray this prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I’m a sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died for me and rose again. I repent of my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Come into my life, save me, and make me new. Guide me to live for you. Amen.”

1. Find a Bible-believing Church (Hebrews 10:25).
2. Live a holy life (Hebrews 12:14).
3. Study God’s word daily (2 Timothy 2:15).
4. Be prayerful (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
5. Focus on heaven (Colossians 3:2).
