By Evangelist Joachim P. Erameh
As humans, there is the tendency to worry when facing challenges. But as children of God, we shouldn’t worry. If you know the God you are serving, you won’t worry at all.
God wants us to consider the birds of the air — they don’t worry because they know God will take care of them.
Matthew 6:25-26 says, “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”
Beloved, you are more than the birds of the air. God loves you more than the birds.
Stop worrying and cast your burden on Him, for He cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7 says, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
God’s plans for your life are of good and not of evil. Hence, you should trust Him and cast your burdens on Him.
Jeremiah 29:11
Worry shows we don’t fully trust God. It makes us focus on problems instead of trusting Him.
Worry doesn’t help — it hinders God’s promises and shortens life.
Luke 12:25 says, “Which of you can add a single hour to your life by worrying?”
Choose to trust God and not worry. Instead, make your requests known to Him in prayer.
Philippians 4:6 says, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”
God is bigger than every challenge, situation, or mountain in your life. Trust Him to help you and stop worrying. Pray and ask Him to increase your faith in Him.
And if you have not yet given your life to Jesus Christ, repent and surrender your life to Him before it is too late.
Please, share this post to encourage someone who is facing challenges in life.
