INTRODUCTION
Cross Evangelistic Ministry International (CEMI) is established to propagate the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in every nation of the earth.
A BRIEF HISTORY
The ministry began when Evangelist Joachim Peter Erameh heard the call of God to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
CEMI’s first public presence was on November 28, 2012, with a Facebook page named Voice of the Lord Evangelistic Ministry (VOLEM). The ministry was later renamed and officially registered as Cross Evangelistic Ministry International on December 31, 2021.
Cross Evangelistic Ministry International is a non-denominational ministry. It is not a church, but a ministry established to win souls into the Kingdom of God.
At inception, the ministry’s trustees were:

- Dcn. Oluwamayowa A. Shaba
- Pst. Emmanuel Olawuyi
Since inception, the ministry has made progress despite challenges and obstacles. CEMI is growing and set to fulfill its mandate of propagating the gospel worldwide. CEMI is a movement — The Cross Movement. The ministry is open to anyone who wishes to join, irrespective of nationality or denomination. The fundamental requirement for joining is that you must be born again. John 3:3

- We believe in the sinfulness and depravity of man, occasioned by the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Romans 3:23; 5:12
- We believe that sin separates man from God, and that without repentance there is no forgiveness of sins. Isaiah 59:1-2; Acts 2:38; 3:19; Luke 13:3, 5
- We believe that Jesus Christ died on the Cross of Calvary to save us from our sins. Romans 5:6; 1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:15; 1 Thessalonians 5:10_
- We believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will come again. Mark 16:1-6; Acts 1:9-11; Matthew 24:44; John 14:3
- We believe that there is salvation in no other name except the name of Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12; John 3:16; Romans 10:13
- We believe that unless a man is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. John 1:12-13; 3:3; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Galatians 5:19-21
- We believe in the existence of heaven and hell — heaven for the righteous and hell for the unrepentant sinner. Romans 2:6-8; Matthew 25:46; Revelation 21:8, 27
- We believe that eternal life awaits those who follow the Lord Jesus Christ to the end. 1 John 2:25; 5:11; Titus 1:2; John 3:15
OUR ACTIVITIES
- We organize crusades to reach the masses with the message of the gospel.
- We produce and distribute free tracts for personal evangelism.
- We mobilize and train people for evangelism.
- We engage in secondary school and university campus evangelism to win young people for Christ.
- We organize youth programs.
- We organize special outreach programs targeting specific demographics in various communities.
- We preach the gospel on social media and television.
- We hold weekly gatherings for prayer, worship, and the Word of God.
- We organize community development programs as part of our corporate social responsibility.
- We collaborate with churches to organize special evangelistic programs.
