Text: Romans 8:31
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”
If God is for anyone, nobody can successfully be against that person.
What does it mean for God to be “for you”?
It means you have the full backing, protection, and presence of God in your life.
A child of God cannot be harmed, because God Himself protects and defends.
A child of God is surrounded by the heavenly host.
So if you belong to God, you don’t need to fear anything or anyone.
The Lord is solidly with you and will not allow evil to befall you.
Scripture proves it:
1. David — King Saul could not kill him because God protected him.
2. Israel — Pharaoh’s army could not harm them because God fought for them.
3. Israel — Balaam could not curse them because God had blessed them.
4. You— “He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” Psalm 121:4
A Personal Word:
There was a time in my life when I became very fearful. Any small thing made me afraid.
But one day, the Lord spoke to me in a dream and said, “Stop being fearful.”
From that day, I stopped being afraid — because I realized that God is with me.
“For our life is hid with Christ in God.” Colossians 3:3
Dear Reader,
If you are not yet a child of God, repent today and surrender your life to Jesus Christ.
It is only the children of God that enjoy His special privileges and protection.

Be a child of God, and let Him be for you at all times.
