The day of reckoning — when everyone shall give account of his or her life here on earth to God — is coming.
It does not matter who you were or what you claimed to be. We shall all give account of our lives to God.
Romans 14:12 says, “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”
God has a purpose for creating us in His image and likeness, and for allowing us to occupy the earth.
The main reason why God created us is to serve and glorify Him (Revelation 4:11).
The truth is that we cannot serve and glorify God by living in sin. Sin is an abomination to God.
If you are living in sin, you are serving the devil and not God.
1 John 3:8 says, “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”
The Bible makes it clear that God is not seeking hypocrites, but true worshippers to worship Him.
John 4:23 says, “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”
Dear reader of this tract, are you fulfilling the purpose for which you were created by God?
Are you living a life that glorifies God?
Remember, someday you are going to give account of your life to God.
If you are living in sin, repent and give your life to the Lord Jesus Christ before it is too late.
Pray this prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I’m a sinner. I repent of my sins and ask for forgiveness. Come into my life, save me, and write my name in the book of life. Guide me to live for you. Amen.”
