“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

In life, it is advisable to do things at the right time. An English proverb says, “Make hay while the sun shines.” Failure to do things at the right time can lead to lost opportunities that may never be regained.
The Danger of Procrastination
It is not good to procrastinate, especially when it comes to the salvation of your soul. Procrastination is the thief of time.
What you can do today, do not put off until tomorrow. Do not say you will repent later, while you still have the chance to do so today and be saved. Besides, you are not in control of your life, and you do not know what might happen in the next second.
God’s Call to Repentance
Acts 17:30-31 says, “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”
There is an accepted time for sinners to repent of their sins. The accepted time is now. There is no repentance in the grave.
Now Is the Time
2 Corinthians 6:2 says, “(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)”
Do not end up like the rich man in the Bible who had enough time to repent but did not. If you are living in sin, repent now and surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ before it is too late.
Pray the Prayer of Repentance
Pray this prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, and I turn to you today. I repent of my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please forgive me, cleanse me with your blood, and come into my life. Be my Saviour and guide me to live according to your word. Thank you for your love and mercy. Amen.”
