“While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.” — Hebrews 3:15
Man is full of excuses. But no excuse will be accepted on Judgment Day. Therefore, when you hear the gospel, do not harden your heart. Hebrews 3:15 says, “To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.”
The reason God gives sinners time to repent is so that there will be no excuse on the last day. The people of the world say, “A word is enough for the wise.”
A wise person will heed the gospel without procrastination, but the foolish will wait until death.
In our time, there is hardly anyone who has not heard the gospel. The gospel has spread across the world, and many have heard the good news.
The gospel message is simple: Jesus loves you and died on the cross for your salvation. Ephesians 1:13 says, “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.”
The gospel is the power of God unto salvation. Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth.”
When you hear the gospel, believe it and repent of all your sins (Mark 1:15). Acts 16:31 says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” John 3:18 says, “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
Dear reader of this tract, you will have no excuse on the last day if you do not believe the gospel. Will you believe the gospel now? Will you trust Jesus Christ to save you from sin, death, and hell?
2 Corinthians 6:2 says, “behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” Tomorrow may be too late. If you are living in sin, repent and give your life to Jesus Christ before it is too late.
Prayer of Repentance
Pray this prayer aloud now and believe in your heart:
Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again for my justification. Forgive me of all my sins. I turn away from my sinful life and surrender my life to You today. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
If you have prayed this prayer and believed in your heart, your sins have been forgiven.
